About Me
I’m an award-winning commercial photographer and director with nearly two decades creating still and motion campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands across automotive, lifestyle, aviation, athletics, and adventure.
My first camera was a Ninja Turtles Instamatic. By middle school I’d borrowed my mom’s 35mm Nikon and taught myself to shoot. No tutorials, just rolls of film and trial and error. I studied pre-med for a year and a half before admitting I was doing it for safety, and switched to a fine arts degree in photography instead.
During college, my photojournalism from the Joplin, MO tornado ran on ABC World News and front pages nationwide. That’s when I learned photography could move people to action, not just document a moment. I carried that into building sets, assisting, and eventually running productions worldwide, before starting my own studio in 2016.
Outside of work I’m a golfer, an outdoors enthusiast, and a believer that knowing yourself makes you better at everything else, including how I lead a set and show up for a crew.

What I Do
I help brands create work that feels true to who they are. Not just visually, but emotionally.
Through photography, motion, and strategic storytelling, I build campaigns that don’t just look right, they feel right: work that earns attention and actually connects. That starts before the camera comes out. I want to understand who you are, what you stand for, and how you want people to feel, because audiences can tell when something’s forced.
Who You’re Hiring
You’re not just hiring a photographer. You’re bringing in a partner.
Someone who can step into a fast-moving production, understand the vision quickly, and help carry it forward. Twenty years working with Fortune 500 brands and global agencies has taught me the challenge is rarely creating content. It’s creating work that feels honest and earns trust. Some of my client relationships span a decade or more because they know I’ll deliver consistent, quality work no matter the circumstances.
How I Work
I’m not here to impose a style. I’m here to understand the vision, align with it, and elevate it. I adapt fast when things shift, and make the process feel simple, even when it’s not.
01
Crew & Coordination
I build crews that are intentionally lean, experienced, and aligned around one outcome. Every role is chosen for the project. Small and nimble or large scale, everyone moves toward the same vision.
02
On Set Approach
Structure and instinct in equal parts. I come in prepared and stay open to what’s happening in real time, so the best unplanned moments still show up inside a brief that gets delivered.
03
Adaptability
No production goes exactly as planned. That’s where I do my best work. Understanding the brand and the feeling we’re after lets me make fast decisions on set that stay aligned with the bigger picture.
What Clients Say
At the End of the Day
It’s never really about the camera.
Whether I’m directing a national campaign or shooting portraits for a founder, my goal is to create work that feels honest, human, and true to the people behind it.
That’s been my standard for twenty years. It’s not changing.
